Prayer moves Mountians... (post from our family blog)

You can click on her button to take you to our family site..
As you might have noticed I added a "Praying for Soli" button to the right side of my blog.
I hope you will take it and use it because as the title says Prayer Moves Mountians.
Before she was born I asked for prayers for her to stay inside till she reached viability.
She stayed in 2 more weeks.
When Soli was born at 25 weeks weighing only 25 ozs, I asked for prayers for her to survive.
She is nearing 6 months old.
At 17 days old I asked for prayers that she make it through heart surgery.
She flew thru with flying colors.
I have asked several times for prayer for our beautiful Angel and now here I am asking once again.Wednesday June 3 at 7:30 am Soli will be undergoing yet another surgery. She will be getting a G-tube placed. I am asking for prayers again for God to guide the surgeons and once again shine his mercy and grace on our Angel.
I will update on Wed via twitter so you can follow me on there (Link on the right----->)
She will be in the hospital for a few days.
Also please pray that I can handle all these new things that come with having a Micro preemie. We have dealt with feeding issues before but Soli is a whole new game. It is upsetting to me that I cannot fix everything. As her mom I want to make it all better and I can't and that is something I am finding extremely hard to deal with. Please pray I can find the strength and trust in God to help me accept all that has happened, is happening and what is to come. I do not know what great things God has planned for our little Angel but I do know they are great! If you are a loyal Follower THANK YOU. Without you I would feel so alone.
If you are new to our blog, Please click "follow" in the right side bar so that I may know you and visit your blogs and pray for your families also. Thank you all for taking time from your days, from your schedule, from your families to read about ours.

Plates

I also ordered the bus licence plates.

The begining...

Well this weekend the bus got it's first sticker thus starting it's transformation..

I also dropped the keys off...
At the auto body shop. It will take about 2 weeks before we get it back but I hope to stop by a few times to capture it's transformation on film memory card.

Not Me Monday.. Bus Edition

Time for Not me Monday and I had one for the bus so here goes...

I most certainly did not make my 20 year old daughter and her boyfriend ride on the little yellow short bus to go to lunch on Saturday. And I did not park in the spot right next to the outdoor seating of said PACKED restraunt. NOT ME!

I also when B got off the bus, did not laugh upon hearing said 20 year oldsay outloud "this folks is why we drive a short bus!" NOT ME!

Welcome

Welcome readers. We hope you climb aboard and fasten your seat belts and join us on the ride to transform our Bus into the Ultimate twilight vehicle. We will document each step on this journey from run down retired school bus to Ultimate Twilight Bus.

A little background: We are an Army family with 10 kids. We needed something bigger to haul all the kids around in. As a few of our kids have various medical equipment that goes with them everywhere we needed something bigger than the average van. Searching craigslist we found this retired old 1989 Chevy School bus. With seating for 16 plus the driver it was perfect. Thus begins the journey.

We have a very specific design in mind and it is already in the works but we will also be allowing you, our riders, to submit Stickers and signs and fan art to be displayed in/on the Twilight Bus. We do ask that any stickers to be applied to the outside of the bus be vinyl or printed vinyl as they need to withstand the weather. Signs we are looking for include the following:
Bus Rules
Welcome Sign
Name signs for the kids for above their seats

We will also accept suggestions for signs, art etc.

We will be using this blog to record the journey with pictures and work during the transformation as well as posts about our journey into the public with this Amazing Bus, So climb aboard for a fun ride!
